Atlantic City authorities have demolished Donald Trump's former casino and hotel complex after it fell into disrepair. It was closed to the public in 2014. Trump, who opened the building on the oceanfront boardwalk in 1984, lost control of it in a 2009 bankruptcy

It was an old, unkept building for years that Carl Ichan basically owned since the late 90's (don't quote me on that). No renovations for years and it was in competition to Caesars and the Taj which during its peak was much nicer. Had a great location, but there are much nicer casinos in AC and got left in the dust when the market got hit hard in the early 2000s

It is one of Trump's bsnckrupt casinos. It was becoming too hazardous and beyond repair over the years. So costly to maintain it due to its cheap materials. It caused accidents as tiles were falling off and two people already died over this. Whatever Trump touches turns into ashes.
