The year I was going to start the science fair I moved to a new school and then Covid came around and I never had to do it btw my old school only did science fair for 7th and 8th graders but I did help my sister with all of hers. Also the other grades had to go to the fair and do a project on what you learned

As my science fair project I was doing plants. We were also encouraged to come up with a "jazzy" name. My school called it the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) Fair though. So my project title was... *insert drumroll* "My STEM Project (get it? because plants?).

We learned the scientific method in my school(Private and yes in America 🇺🇸) By learning it, learning the mnemonics, and then taking a test and/or doing a class experiment while writing stuff down on a paper with the steps listed out... 1 ask a question 2/3 form a hypothesis 2/3 do research 3 create an experiment 4 test hypothesis 5 draw conclusions 6communicate results

Our science fair was optional (so I didn’t do it lol) but in third grade the teacher... FORCED US TO DO IT, and I completely forgot about it until like almost the last day and I’m like MOM UR GONNA HELP ME RIGHTTTTT? I liked it, it allows you to be creative, also I got to bring in a snake and let people watch it eat a snake, I called it science but I did nothing, no joke everything was stolen from websites I found, and the snake was the only one doing anything, it did not win since they did not call it a “real science project” but they got boos since people liked the snake because I let people hold it, I was basically trying to bribe my way to the top.
